Since this thread has been resurrected, I figure I'll submit a Deity. Hmm, the primary elements are already taken, and I dont feel like playing an omnicidal God of destruction, order, or chaos this time around.
There's already a God of monsters, and already a Goddess of cooking. An omnicidal plague God might be interesting, but it'd be that much more for Kilojoule Proton to keep up with, and apart from harming other Deity's creations, there's not much that can be done with it.
Electricity or knowledge sound interesting, but I'm not sure. Light, I've already ruled out omnicidal God of order, and I'm not a fan of nurturing, tolerant llight and, while I could play as a God dedicated to spreading light but I feel that goes against the core idea. I like Darkness but don't like the idea of playing as a God of theives or assassins. A God of beauty, art, or architecture could be neat, but I feel it would get old after a while...
I think I'll do a God of Speed and Sound this time around... Hey, that rhymed!
Name: Nizut, Nizet, or Nizit, and recognizable variations of them, are all acceptable. After all, it loves sound more than anything but speed, why wouldn't it answer to many sounds?
Sphere: Speed and Sound.
Primary form: Nizit is an incomprehensible spinning mass of tangible momentum and echoing vibrations, always moving rapidly, even if it is held in the same place, it spins at breakneck speed. The vibrations echo random, staticky noises and rapid bits and pieces of every song ever sang. It changes speed and sound faster than mortals eyes can comprehend and does it endlessly.
Symbol: Anything Fast, and anything Loud, is a Symbol of Nizet. Nizut absolutely loves things that are Fast and Loud at the same time because Speed and Sound are its favorite things, so whatever's both is by default, one of Nizit's favorite things. Extremely Loud engines attached to extremely Fast are one of Nizet's favorite favorite things
Description: Nizet is above all else, absolutely obsessed with Speed and Sound, and simply can't find much interest in anything else. It has a bit of a one-track mind and constantly goes on about all things that have to do with Speed and Sound, regardless of how much they pertain to the issue at hand.
Nizet is actually a pretty nice guy once one can get past its obsessions, and it in understands that other Deities and their mortals don't feel the same way about Speed and Sound, and while to it it seems ridiculous to waste time thinking about anything but Speed and Sound, it can respect that. Nizut has no tolerance toward anyone or anything that would deprive itself of its followers of Speed and Sound, and will rapidly, noisily, and messily destroy them. It really likes music, especially Fast and Loud music. It likes every kind of noise, but honestly likes the Loud ones best.
Subtlety and patience are not words in Nizit's dictionary.
