What is the turn out rate for the elections?

The only thing I could vote on in my district in South Carolina was a proposition to impose 1% more sales tax to fund school development, and if that passed, some kind of authorization for the local (county?) government to issue public debt.

I voted yes to both and they both passed.

Nothing for the state at all, which was disappointing.

Uhhh... The US constitution says that violence is PERFECTLY acceptable in the case that the government isn't the way you want it... and that they are willing to fight to the death for your right to do so.

It is one of the reasons why I don't like that part of the constitution.

Wouldn't unacceptable for him to lead the main participants of the few threads discussing the election into fairly uninteresting corners, considering how volatile this has been.

Calm down people, if insulting everyone has clearly been proven to not work at all, violence won't take you much further. There's a pretty mean post election divide going on in 'murica right now and there are shady people (on both sides, lets not pretend we live in middle earth now) who are prob willing to take advantage of that kind of conflict. I'm with the WaitButWhy guy on this one, things will probably be ok, and if they arent, then you can try and do something about it, but nothing concrete has happened just yet, so, chill?
