The GameStop I visited had a lot of codes left over when I went to get mine, so they gave me several.

I've got two spare cards with the codes not yet revealed, and a possible two more codes if since my sister didn't find anyone in need of the codes I sent her.

They arnt regional right if they are I think shes in the pal region so dont bother if they are american. Though if they are japanese I have a friend there too

They're from America, but it doesn't say if the codes are regional or not. Edit: They are.

I'll send a code later in the day to see if they work in PAL.

For the record, I'm 90% sure they are region-locked. Googling around gives a lot of people wondering why their out-of-region codes aren't being accepted.

Can always try it and find out, though.

I'm pretty sure event pokemon can't be traded.

Classic Ribbon
    Prevents trading the Pokémon with the Ribbon over the GTS and Wonder Trade.

I think you'd have to do the trade in person.
Also, it's one per game. I could redeem and trade one on my X version, and that's it.

I'm pretty sure you can trade them over the internet as long as you're doing it directly via friend codes or whatever. You just can't use the GTS or Wonder trade specifically (which involve trading with strangers). So the "North American redeems the code and trades the Pokémon itself" plan should work.

The fact that you can only redeem one code per game copy is the real stumbling block, though. Maybe if you could find some trustworthy volunteers? I've already used up my own, sadly. :/

I think I may have actually redeemed a code on my X version already, due to the surplus, meaning there might be an extra Volcanion available for trade. (It's also got extras of the non-code 20th Anniversary distributions, if desired.)
