Na'kal slowly opens the door and checks inside.

'Good, but what do you mean clear it? Zombies there? Ha! .... Heh.... These painkillers might be affecting my mind...'

Andrew browses the engineering logs for anything out of the usual, and then he toys with his crowbar and looks for suspiciously loose panels or similar

'Should have good supplies, then. Let's hope there's hydroponics'

I don't think... this ship is... big enough for... that it... probably just has... frozen or... dehydrated food

Jonah follows after Na'kal, ready to shoot any zeds that might be inside Medbay.

After Andrew checks the console, he heads back to the cargo room. He puts his welder and plasma cutter down, and picks up the sword.

Ah, the escape pod, right. It's a bit chilly in here.
Giving my robotic arm a quick experimental clenching I proceed to open the cryopod and examine my surroundings.
Time to go and see where my judgement is needed!

Jonah and Na'kal fan into the room, the room is surprisingly clean excluding the blood stained surgery tools aside the medical bed. On the west side of the room is a pile of body bags stacked up, on your east is some medical cabinets and in the south is a couple of blood stained medical beds.

"Be ready to shoot. . ."

Na'kal will stay where he is and shoot one projectile into each of the corpses heads.

Jonah does as instructed and keeps his gun ready to shoot at anything hostile.

'What are you shooting? Whatever it is, you better find an airlock to space the corpses! I don't want stench everywhere.

Shortly after Na'kal punctures each of the corpses, the body bags seem to inflate and strain against whatever is inside.

"It's probably those tendrils again."

Jonah takes aim at the body bags, finger on the trigger.

A small tendril slithers out of the bullethole with what seems to be a bloodshot eye at the end of the stalk, it blinks twice before retreating back. The bag begins to writhe and squirm.
