La da di, Jason finishes cooking and sets out two plates. He smiles at Tiana.
"Bon appetite!"
Heather smiles.
"Of course I'm going to eat your cooking, silly."
She chows down.

"Wait, you can't ride a bike? And i can tell you i do not miss being a feline that licks its entire body."

"wait, did you just imply that you were once a cat too? Man, everyone's got a story around here. As much as I'd love to stay and chat, I'm missing lunch right now, so, eh - I'm still learning the layout of this place - where is the cafeteria, food court, anything?"

Akbar turns to this person who just called him a cat

"For your information, i can be whatever the hell i want to. I just don't waste it on a feline."

Edwinn looks around awkwardly, apparently unsure of something.

"Umm, have I stumbled upon the shapeshifter's club or something? Also, keyword: 'once.' Y'know that thing I said about how you seem touchy?"

Akbar realizes that he's probably being what the mortals call "rude"

"Eh. Sorry about that. Ive had a rough day. Im not actually a shapeshifter. Well, not really. I could turn myself into an octopus, but it would be more like a human being in an octopus shape."

"I can manipulate flesh and bone, but if i try to use it to modify things its not usually a good outcome."

"Ah, I see. That's an interesting power. Anyway, I'm not keen to miss lunch, so, do you know where, uh... Where people go to eat lunch around here? Is there any place which serves lunch? I really should have taken that map I was offered."

"I dunno. I managed to find it, but i have was just wandering. Looks like we gotta ask around."

"Well then in that case, let's start with the people nearby."

Edwinn turns to Lacie and Osamu.

"Do either of you two know where the lunchroom is?"

Tiana digs into Jason's meal. She doesn't exactly seem to be the neatest eater.
