"Yeah, of course! I sometimes feel like that too."
With that, Tiana begins to braid Aiko's hair.

[Twinwolf]

Aiko hands her the ribbons she usually uses to tie them. "Thanks..." Another yawn.

Tiana accepts the ribbons with a curt nod, and begins finishing up the braid.
"Anyways, how do you want your braids done? Any specific things?"

[Twinwolf]

"I usually have two of them, and they're tied at the end with the ribbons... I usually make them go over my shoulders..." Another yawn.

Tiana finishes up the first braid and ties it at the end with one of the ribbons, and begins to neaten up the one that was partially finished.
"Cool, cool. So, how're you adjusting to life here so far? How different is it from home?"

[Twinwolf]

"Well, I lived in a shrine back home, so obviously pretty different. I'm glad grandma didn't homeschool me, I'd never have gone to a class for this language if she did.

Uh, apart from that, it's pretty different. We had separate shoes for inside and outside- I was looking for shoe-lockers for like forty minutes when we got here, before they told me to just keep what I had. The beds are different too, in that they're beds and not mats on the floor. I actually have one of those mats- futons- in my suitcase. The beds are way more comfortable though! The food is different too- I'm glad they had some food like what I'm used too, I'm not sure I'd have been able to just go all-in on new things right away. Pizza is great though, they didn't have that kind of thing back home- we had something similar, but I like this better. The language is a lot more informal too- back home there was always something attached to the end of a name denoting your relation to the person you're speaking of, and we usually use family names unless we were really close. I keep having to correct myself when I try to introduce myself as Fuyumi instead of Aiko."

Tiana continues to put the finishing touches on Aiko's second braid, listening intently to her backstory.
"Great! I love to learn about people's stories. Well, I grew up on a small farming town on the outskirts of Valkir. Like, we woke up at the crack of dawn to start farming the peaches, you know? Anyways, it was like everyone around you was your family. Although, I never actually knew my birth family. My parents now told me that my birth parents were good people, but I wonder if they were mages or wizards or something too, if that's why I can do magic. Although, I am now done with your braids. I can get a mirror for you to see."

"I'm sure you did fine. I need to get some coffee or tea or something to wake me up first..."

Relspi nods.
"I see."

"What do you do?"

Alice looks over at Aiko.
"Perhaps some tea, then?"
Acair seems to be offering Medea some bacon.

"I... I haven't done anything yet."
She looks... very slightly downcast.
"Perhaps I will know soon enough!"

"I... I haven't done anything yet."

"Are you, like, only part human then...?"

[Adragis]

"Yes."
She nods.

[TheBiggerFish]

"Yes."
She nods.

"That's cool!  Um...What are you?  If you don't mind me asking."

[Twinwolf]

Alice looks over at Aiko.
"Perhaps some tea, then?"
Acair seems to be offering Medea some bacon.
