More grief a little earlier this evening. Zan, can you please post the list of people who stopped by? This was definitely the same guy, same MO. He likes to ruin the crops, fill in the irrigation water, leave a lava fall, and destroy all the workbenches he can find. This time he also strategically took out certain torches so we would have monsters spawn. This time he also destroyed the diamond-protected chest in the enchanting room, which meant the factory needed a 10 XP bottle repair. No biggie.
Another B12er was on before me and I guess cleaned up a lot. Then I repaired almost everything else, trying to put everything back exactly the way it was. Again, just trying to demoralize the griefer with how his vandalism isn't lasting very long and he isn't actually gaining anything.
He cracked one of the emerald-reinforced chests. It was one he had worked on before and gotten it down to 50% last time, and this time he finished it off. When I noticed it was damaged, I figured it would be the first one to get cracked (since anyone can see the % left) but it never had anything in it anyway. Regular monitoring of chest durability should help ensure the exact same thing happens again and again. EDIT: I also added 4 more emerald chests one floor up. I believe that puts us at 45. With all this activity, I think there's no reason to stop at 100.
So I went around and reinforced most of the doors and torches and windows with stone. It's not much but he doesn't seem like he wants to do a lot of work anyway. We may need to just go around and Stone-reinforce every single block just to deter vandalism. Remember to use the group name after /ctr instead of leaving it blank, or your fellow dwarves won't be able to change things easily!
Also I stuck a pile of 12 reinforced workbenches by the wheat farm as a special little "fuck you" because I know he just can't stand to leave them if he sees them.
Anyway - I suspect he might be logging out in the area. The Little Richard Island got hit too - I fixed up his tower and put his stuff in a chest and left a note. If we can narrow it down to a list of suspects, we can keep an eye on his login anytime we're on.
