Alright, Kyubee.

(Are my races good or are they bad?)

(Good. Also, the monitor lizard men are a lot of stuff rolled into one; they're baby-snatchers who also will steal items from you like kobolds, they also can ambush and siege you. They do not have steel but they can be dangerous in some respects. They are led by a Grand Emperor or Grand Empress. Stop these reptilian nasties!)

Meanwhile the Zarekians (The alcoholic porcupine paladins) were, civilizationwise, just dwarves with access to any pet race right off the bat and some other, really minor changes. I made them like, over a year ago, and I'm thinking it's time I remake them! They could be a great enemy to my Troglodytes who need a renaming so theyre more catchy

(Now I wanna imagine a battle between these two races... Nevermind! We are getting a little off topic here!)

I aint the most experienced tool in the shed(or so somebody once told me), but i would gladly take a crack at Cthulhu - i enjoyed it quite a bit when i downloaded it awhile back. What does it need updating for - is it not compatible with v.43.5, or what? Gimme an idea of what needs changing and ill give it a whirl.

Hmm... i dont know how i would go about taht. Mostly i work with interactions - is there anything in particular you need on that front for a mod? I've gotten pretty good with them, eenough to work on my own mod, i think it could be useful SOMEWHERE. Also, you reply FAST, bro!

either way, ill still re-download it, and try and see exactly what would prevent it with working for V 43. Also, since you said maybe making it BETTER - how about diff types of Old One. Instead of all bacically being Cthulhu, how about Shub-Niggurath or Hastur? The King in Yellow could masquerade as a normal book or necromancy tome, and when a Dorf uses it, BOOM! Summons Hastur right into your fort! Lotta !fun! THERE.

Also, check out my post on druid magic - you seem more experienced, id like to know what you think! advice is a thing that a TRUE modder knows is INCREDIBLY important.

Back to the matter at hand: I'm downloading the file fresh, gonna read throug the raws and see if I can find out WHY it would not work with the current version - also look at adding any othe eldritch creatures that they havent added yet and possibly some ideas for adding the new Megabeasts, for our fresh version. Also, interactions have come a-ways since then, i might look at adding/re-jigging some of the secret types they added, for some traditional CoCery. I believe melting flesh was a thing... >D
