All features of Runesmith can be replicated quite easily in DFHack.

I might be able to do at least some of DotM. I'll double check when I have free time.

OKAY so I'm working on this mod now, shouldn't really be too difficult, and I'm even expanding it a bit! Nothing especially significant, but there are many giant creatures and no vermin sized ones, no animal people, etc, so I'm adding those in. Let me know if there are any requests for inclusions. There will be at least one new lizard in this remake though. (It's a secret) :D

Also, sorry for late reply, exams.

Alright. Be sure to post it. Call it Dawn of The Mountainhomes Revival or something.

Mewtwo is going to be a separate mod for whenever I become experienced with reactions like that. I'm sorry, but that's just out of my skills range for now. :'(

Although we should be seeing Dawn of the Mountainhomes Chapter 2: The Revival: Dwarf Fortress sometime in January. ;D

EDIT: Due to a combination of college prep and regular high school, this slowed down significantly. ::)
I'm afraid that I have to say 'It'll be done when it gets done.' Sorry.

When I get good at modding, I may join this little club of yours! for now i'm having trouble making coherent civilizations though. Regardless, I'm sure you guys could use another crew member at some point!

No idea! Theres plenty of good ones, i'm sure, but I havent played around with any older versions or their mods! Any suggestions that would be easy to pull into 43.05?

Id say what im best at is entities, in spite of my little problem I experienced before; Mostly entities that interact with vanilla creatures, though, I've been slowly dipping into modifying existing creatures. I havent messed with tissues and body parts yet, so i havent done a "From scratch" creature (The closest ive done is a WIP project of making creatures out of a material based on Magic The Gathering's Darksteel), but... Yeah entities.

Hmm...
We have a list of mods, if you did not notice.
Maybe one there will suit your needs.
(I also tend to mod existing creatures. I modded my original DF game a lot. I added a few modded variant races for the main ones: Dunemen (Islam inspired) and Icedwellers (Nordic inspired), and Hellspawn (surprisingly not evil half-demons) for humans, Corrupt Dwarves for Dwarves, Hobgoblins (city dwellers, semi-inspired by Direforged's hobgoblins) for the goblins, and currently I am working on the Elves' variant: the staple Dark Elf. I also gave a civ to monitor lizard men. They are made to be half-greedy beings looking to expand their empire and they are trying to obtain knowledge of steel. Only 3 races know how to make it: Hobgoblins learned of it via a bandit, icedwellers know of it from trading and learning from dwarves, and the dwarves themselves.)

Oh, I once did make ONE good race a long time ago! I modified and spliced humans and porcupines into a race of drunken paladins! and, lemme check! Okay, all the available ones are a bit tall of orders for me! I'm gonna work on my own skill and check back later!
