Which station? Bear in mind that space station is sort of like 'city' or 'he/she', it's fine as long as it's unambiguous- though I probably don't have room to throw stones on that count.
The Reunion has little to no sensor capability beyond the solar system she's in (unless you do something clever), so you can't just bounce a signal off Flounder. Also, more than cursory scans tend to make people 'nervious'. It's like asking a person how there day is. A little bit is fine between strangers, but you start asking when they get off work and whether or not their route home takes them through any dark alleys and they're probably going to start edging away.
In short, a scan of Deliria will be blocked and a polite paragraph about the station's public information will be fed back. The Flounder is still light years away, and thus beyond your typical reach.
Oops!
I keep misinterpreting things due to epic tiredness!
I'm happy to know the usual protocol being taken here if we're being intrusive
Thank you formality and reasonable people. I do believe the current plan is 'everyone get back on ship; we're buying ourselves our target, then commence the battle'.
In the least a few projected and most likely scenarios are:
> There are other mercs that softened up our target
> We arrive just in time (how long is bore travel? That goes with preparations and such--is it connected to how good our engine is too?), and then plan from there
> We arrive just with a few minutes to spare and in range of our target that we can reach them if we take initiative
> We arrive but need to spend time moving to our target, although are in the same system.
Possible worries:
> Some of our characters don't know the full scope of our target's abilities (ie I don't think mine does know what the...how the tech works and how to counter that [OOC, I am pretty afraid of someone who can teleport next to you and do stabs
That's knowing a snippet of action for you.])
> I've no idea how little or much time works
Like, how fast can a ship move in a system in space, and does it matter or is it figuratively taken care of based on if you say so?
> Personally, Kesari isn't
that useful at close-range or closed-spaces due to her requirement of space for speed (and thus mobile gun platform capabilities) or generally a way to build up speed for her to work her soldier-skills.
