Just prior to Into the storm listing a whole slew of options for character creation it suggests that the GM designate one or more rows as free rows, alowing anyone to choose anything within them.

Anyways, if we do go and run a RT game, I'll probally try playing as a pilot of some flavor.

Ah, I thought you where still talking ships for some reason :P. Sure, we would probably have class as the free choice row. We would probably do the allocating points method of character creation too, just for the record.

I thought that class was a free choice row by default... I guess not. Ahwell.

Stirk is considering a Rogue Trader game, yes? I don't have the rules but if someone could help me through those I'd be more than willing to play.

That's a common mistake, but it's not. It's relatively common for GMs to allow an extra free choice row, but depending on the players' familiarity with the system it might be better to keep things simple.

@Twinwolf: I remember you were around in that DH2e game so I assume you have a minimum of experience with the basics since they didn't change from RT to DH2e. Search for Rogue Trader Consolidated Character Creation (v1.2 is the most recent one, I believe) and you'll have a nifty file for chargen reference (though if a game does open I'll also provide assistance). A good character concept is probably the most important part of the deal.

The system is pretty easy to learn, in my opinion.

Eh, I would probably allow an extra free choices if there was a good enough in-character reason and it seems balanced enough.

 Alright then.

In other news, there looks like there is enough interest in almost every listed game for someone to run one. Which is nice.

I'd love to play DH for once. Already have several character concepts in store.

Maybe we should split "D&D" into Pathfinder, 3.5, and 5e (there probably won't be enough interest for 1e, 2e, and 4e).

I'd be interested in some RPGs, I got a few various WH:40K books despite me never playing it. I'd be pretty up to getting into DnD 5e or Pathfinder if possible. I'd also be up to something Like GURPS (4e), RIFTS (if insane enough), and I also got a few Vampire the Requiem Books.

I have several ideas for some rogue trader ventures, open ended but with some direction.  I would be glad to run it but I only own the core rule book and getting the others looks like it will take some time.  I am going to open a thread to make some characters, it should be rather open RP for the most part with some of the heavier crunch during combat and such.

If you want to use options and characters from the newer books just put them down and be truthful about what they do.

Hah, I knew if I stalled long enough someone else would do it. Once again my brilliance shines.

If you need anything from the other books, you can just ask on this thread and I am sure someone will help you out.
