Sure thing! What am I, some goddamn celebrity?
Um... When will you have the 64x64 tileset ready?
Dunno!
I'm working on it. Actually only just started (I intend it to be pseudo-iso already, for future use in better, more isometric times). So right now I'm learning how to make isometric sprites. It's not going very well.

Also, I think I broke the 64px limit. Oops. So the tileset will prolly not be usable until the next major release (Baughn promised me to implement mipmaps. Ok, maybe he didn't promise it but they're coming).

Fist up, the images here are amazing, some evan beyond quality, even if I'm to lazy to write abaut them.

Now abaut the request:
O_O
That is simply amazing, really good, I wasnt sure anyone were actually going to do it, and I certanly didnt think they were going to do it this well! Thanks! ^_^
I did't quite inagine "the heart is leadng" quite that literal. :p

If to want some criticism: you character desigs are utterly awesome, as are the ruins, but i Do think you need to think about the light a bit more.
- the being of light is to yellow, it looks like it was fire or even yellow fur, more than being made of living light almost. consider simply adding some blurry white on top of it. (thou, not possible in point, so that might be why.)
- the scene looks like it's lit from behind the camera, but the suns are all in the picture!
- likewise, the shy has a whiteish gradient towards some point above the suns and the suns are solid blocks of colour. Real stars more likely would be white on the disk itself, but the colour visible from the sky-covering glow around it. Also, binary and trinary systems, if the stars are in the same poisition in the sky I think it's unlikely they are also the same size.
- shadows?
- the villages are small, and hard to see. not sure if this is an actual flaw thou, but it's something top think abaut.
- the demon abnomination thingy has a very good sense of motion, the being of light is not bad, but not as good as the demon.

you are very right, Armok. The background has many flaws and is all too simplistic ('cept for the ruins, I'm proud of those). creatures interacting dynamically with their surroundings are not one of my strong points. Both the suns and the glowing god creature should cast light around them, and the brightest part of the sky should be by the suns, not above it.

Oh, and since you're making a big fuss about depicting the three suns properly, I should tell you that while you're right about trinary star systems and their size relations, A flaw in your request is that green stars do not exist. They only come in blue, red, and yellow and white.

EDIT: Here's a character study of the light god.

Nice. That is an inspiring picture, we could build like an entire mythos around this...

New mythos? Awesome!

Weegee turns people into babbling lunatics with his stare, and you are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I figure it's about time I made some fanart.

Behold, a picture of a Miner Dorf.

100% Photoshop, no tracing or references. Done in 3-4 hours today. I just finished it now.

He is decorated with eyes of microcline and Menaces with spikes.

Note: This takes place inside a single-tile wide cave hallway made of obsidian.

Added Note: The picture is quite modular, so I can modify it in many ways. Ranging from different classes to different environments. And if possible, expressions. And I did notice he lacks eyelashes, but those were burned off due to local heat sources.

Admit it Spreggo, you just drew a plaited moustache over a picture of Castro!

No, but seriously, I love it.

Ducim is definately cool, but am I the only one who sees an evil-duck/alien-leech-parasite type thing on his head instead of a beret/flop hat?
