I found my old sketchbook and decided to draw a couple of the big monsters in my world.  Hooking up my old scanner sounds like too much trouble, so I just took pics of the drawings.  Hopefully they turned out.

I was originally going to give him a "Keep on Truckin" walk, but I deemed it too hard to do with four legs.  In retrospect, it probably wouldn't have been.

This guy had thousands of kills before being struck down by a jabberer.  There was one town where he killed something like 900 humans.  Can you imagine seeing this thing rampaging through your neighborhood?

At least, that's what I'm hoping it would look like when it's finished (it's still in it's planning/concept stage; still waiting for the next DF version release before I actually commit to working on it fully), but with a better sense of perspective. Notice the emblem on the ship is an axe this time.

Oh right, I drew it on a rather bumpy airplane ride home after visiting my folks up in NY. Thought it would be a rather appropriate topic for sketching while in flight.

It's been awhile since I seriously drew anything, so my skills are a tad rusty (including coloring in Photoshop). I might need some time to refine my sketching skills again, and a few good topics to draw before I can get back to my former drawing glory. Design and art are 2 different beasts I have to tame.
