I drew a miner. This is the first time I've drawn a person in a while, it's normally been just spaceships. I'm /really/ bad at drawing humans/dwarves. Thoughts?

The spider is just there because I was planning to make a list of underground animals I've modded in. Giant cave bees and pack beetles are next.

Better than I was expecting from your description. :) The right arm is way too long and the shadows look kind of half-assed, but other than that, it looks good.

At first I just saw the sword spider, and thought, "Man, that is a pretty bad dwarf."   :P
I do like the dwarf, though.  He looks like he's been satisfied at work lately.
