 Just as you reach the edge of town, you hear a voice from behind you. "Hey! Come back! Help!" You turn around and see a figure running past the General Store, and two others in hot pursuit. Gunfire fills the air as the figure weaves and bobs to avoid the bullets.

The writer lets out a long sigh. He simply loads the shotgun, turns around, and struts up to the bandits, pointing it at them. "Let the man go? I'd rather not get more involved than I have to."

 The two bandits stop dead in their tracks, and the woman they were following runs to safety. However, not everything is over. One of the bandits speaks up: "Now, you may be able to kill one of us without a problem, but it you do, the other one'll shoot you in the head. Because of this, we'll make a deal - you turn yourself in, and we won't kill you. How about it?"

Possibly becoming a hostage, maybe they just take everything you have, but probably they'll take the opportunity to kill you. I don't know much about guns, but shotguns in videogames sometimes have splash damage, so maybe you can kill them both with one shot.

I probably won't have time to play, but someone else is welcome to use this character
