I think he's meaning the null string that was used in the place name.

I think I've seen Null before. It never occurred to me that it isn't actually in the language raws.

I think I've seen Null before. It never occurred to me that it isn't actually in the language raws.
It's right there in the adjective list.

Would it be a good idea to remove "Null" as a valid in-game language construct, to avoid confusion with actual errors?  That's on the fuzzy border between bug fix and feature request.  We already have "Emptiness" and "Void", which could cover many of the likely uses; perhaps add "invalid", "cancelled", and/or "revoked" to cover the other cases?

Which other DF errors produce 'null'? While it's possible Toady would confuse himself while debugging, it's not very likely is it? Oh, this says null and, yeah it's a word. Confused for all of 5 seconds.

If a word with a null string comes up, it shows up as a space.
