Tick 18.0: Pastry FestivalLandria has taught the Porcelainians about making porcelain golems and porcelain statues.
Zenrach has created a unit of Chaos Callers. (Zenrach: -21E) Their attacks on highly technologically advanced Jannah have resulted in sundry casualties--mostly their own.
Gandtrael has attempted to erase the lucklings but cannot find them. Fortuna opposes the erasure attempt. (Gandtrael: -3E, Fortuna: -3E)
Jannah has recovered well from the last of the beastmen raids. Work continues on all sorts of projects, many expansion-related. With the schools repaired, progress continues. The Hastani have done well in their specific environments, and have a reputation for building vertically and very densely, even with some of their farms. Their hanging gardens draw in travelers from all over the Mountain. The Sharim are far better known now for good and for ill. The Maisse continue to live as they always have, with little changing after recovery from the raids. The beastmen have settled around Jannah, also serving to settle and tame the wilds.
Having seen the burst of necromantic activity, Katzerie investigates forcefully, creating the Clean Gloves, which cannot be stained by blood so as to avoid dramatic handwashing guilt/insanity scenes. Katzerie takes the blessedly simple approach of simply punching the twisted life to death. Katzerie also attempts to block the leyline to no effect even on higher power. (Katzerie: -2E) Zenrach offers assistance. Xislo expresses annoyance that the leylines may potentially end up being manipulated clumsily by other gods with ruinous effects when necromancy has nowhere else to go...
Zenrach calls down a rain of rocks over the contaminated area, blasting the land for miles around. (Zenrach: -10E) This has the unintended side-effect of turning most of the twisted creatures into less easily punchable ghosts. Landria muses about what Zenrach could be trying to cover up, having so desperately spent 10E on removing the twisted wildlife.
There is little or no more twisted life to punch, so Katzerie turns to punching necromancers in the Terminae caverns, where necromancers swarm everywhere. Katzerie almost immediately gets detained by a number of powerful-looking automatons, the most powerful of which looks vaguely brownish in the lighting.
The Clean Gloves have torn! So much blood...
A nearby leyline flares up with necromancy, producing similar effects to the first time around, twisting nearby animals and plants. Could this be an effect of the suspicious blood-rock? Or could it just be that no one knows what the Death named Death is about?
Landria ogles LYT.
