That's really cute (chibi?) miracle. From the story, I assume Ameli will continue to train and lead miitary to ever greater heights, even in these trying times.

Reminds me of slaughtering the male grazers after embark for soap, secure that the female grazers are pregnant.

Out of Character now: I've never been so happy and terrified in playing Dwarf Fortress before. For some goddamn reason (probably spending hours drawing these characters) I've become so f*cking attached to these elves. I know the #1 rule of Dwarf Fortress is to never get attached to characters, but I'm terrified about anything bad happening to Are Omonila (Ameli and Bělalo's son).

Fleeting Frames perks up and reveals a terrible smile.
The werellama strikes at the Elf Miner, but the strike is blocked by Are Omonila!

Of course, it might not be werellama. It might be just an unrestrained charge brought by the sparring partner/subordinate Ameli trained up from zero. Seeing that, I do not need to question how the Dark Widow would feel. Wonder if you'd get a loyalty cascade?

Truly, a gloriously fell and literal interpretation of "I'd burn every tree, butcher every beast and kill every elf, man or otherwise."

This is beutiful. You are a very good artist. I am playing parralel fortresses as I type this, and every dwarf has just slumped into depression or thrown a tantrum. Let's hope that the dark elves do not share the same fate.
