After Quell makes a quick trip to the town, he affixes the rope to the Golem and begins climbing down, with Jeremmy not far behind. Once they are a quarter of the way down the rope, say, 50 feet, the Golem stops moving and returns to it's natural un-living stone state, although it holds it's shape.

If it keeps its position, there's no reason not to keep going.

Yes, keep going.

Did you get torches?

I should have explained that better; you're nearly at the bottom, so that time is still equal for everyone, but the golem is out of range now.

I'm still waiting to hear if we have torches before I post my action.

I need to stop posting turns at midnight. Just woke up, I'm going to go through the last turn again and fix any stupidity.

EDIT: Fixed last turn to explain where you guys are on the rope, and that you have torches. Details.

Begin exploring in a random direction. Take a torch, and if it gets difficult to see, light it.

"I don't believe there is a way to get it down here. Not without losing our way up. So let us press forward. Squire! Take point!"

Explore in the direction opposite to Jeremmy.

Sorry for the long absence. Life is a mess. Just now getting shit together. Homecoming today. Will have a turn posted by tonight or tomorrow morning. Expect confusion, madness, and chaos. Probably.

I lied. Sorry.

Pull da lever!

The lever at first appears to do nothing. After a few seconds though, a hole appears in the corner of the room, and there are stairs and a series of unlit torches leading down. It fades into darkness...

Begin exploring in a random direction. Take a torch, and if it gets difficult to see, light it.

Jeremmy and Quell split up, going in opposite directions on the surprisingly long ledge. Quell finds a cave with an alarmingly large amount of bones and miscellaneous bits of bodies strewn about, and there's another sign. This one has been scratched and generally vandalized to the point of being unreadable, however.

Jeremmy, on the other hand, goes until there is little light to see by, and little ledge left to stand on, before finding a series of steps cut into the rock. They're clearly well-worn, if not recently used; there's a thick layer of dust and dirt on them.

Ah, if only I had the proper equipment, such as a hand-grenade of the blessed variety...

Arrange the bones such that they form a bunch of rollers covering the ground. Anything that rushes at me would slip and fall!

Proceed. As far as I can tell, neither of us have hit something which states that our split-up should end. Explore ever forward, with torch lit!
