Still a better love story than Twilight.

Europol thread is that way.

Unless the intent is to imply that America is being infiltrated by Islamic death squads. In which case, we've been here before, only with Papists, anarchists, fascists, Communists, Japanese saboteurs, German saboteurs, and epileptics (yes, that was a category of people banned from entry at one time).

Also apparently anyone with a mental illness, anyone of sufficiently low intelligence, and a lot of other things of questionable appropriateness.

I can't seem to find anything explaining why epileptics were specifically targeted, though. Looks like it was codified in the 1903 act, but the internet appears to only want to talk about anarchists. I wanna' know what was bad enough about it to blanket ban folks afflicted from immigrating :-\

Here's a prediction:

The 2016 election will have incredibly low voter turnout which will likely swing the vote towards Trump. He may very well be elected by a record low number of Americans; Hillary is in the same boat if she wins- a small portion of the country will vote. There will likely be people who see that low turnout as a failure of the American electorate. I disagree. It will be a failure of the political parties of the United States to produce legitimate candidates.

I propose a new amendment to solve this issue. A new option for each election whereby if the majority of voters elect "no confidence," then all existing political parties will be dissolved and a new primary process performed.

The intelligence requirements and epileptic bans were almost certainly part of the eugenics movement. I know epilepsy was disproportionately feared when it wasn't very well understood, so it may seem weirdly specific now.

"Dissolve all political parties".  Sounds good.  Means jack shit.

White people will continue to be butthurt through the election.  Non-white voter participation will go up.  Hillary Clinton will probably win by a very comfortable margin.

That would explain it, huh. Assuming it wasn't anything odder. Cheers, curiosity sated.

Also yeah, an amendment to change the performance of a non-government organization, particularly a political one, is, uh. I'm fairly sure it would be unconstitutional as all hell.

E: And yeah, as m notes it'd be kinda' pointless, unless by dissolved you mean "dissolved in acid". Doesn't help much to break apart a more or less voluntary organization when the people that formed it are still there >_>
