Or rather than throwing away your vote in protest,
Do you actually drink that Kool-Aid?
Spoiling your vote is worthless in pretty much every situation, nobody's going to care about half a percent of protest voters when everyone else votes Trullary
Have you considered the possibility that people are voting trump/Hillary because they believe a protest does not count? (Voting for the anointed candidate because you believe your opinion is worthless IS SPOILING YOUR VOTE IN MY OPINION)

Speaking about protest votes, in the last election over a quarter of Australians selected a primary preference that wasn't from the top 2 parties, and that's a significant protest.
Of course the top 2 parties still managed to win the most votes, but they can see the obvious threat third parties represent.

Australia uses preferential voting, not FPTP like the US, so what would be a pointless protest vote in the US is really a actual vote in Australia.

Proportional representation when

hat's not how voting works
every vote could count
in florida a few hundred votes made bush jr win
Ergo, it's better to vote. How does that argument do anything except back up my point?

I'm starting to believe that whomever becomes the next president, be it Donald "the Wall" Strumpf or Hillarybilly "You have new mail" Clinton, it is going to be the shortest term president ever.
I predict impeachment (or 'voluntary' resignment) and new elections within a year.
Americans are left with two candidates the both don't really want / trust.

Honestly the lizard people might do a better job of running things than humans; maybe they'd be smart enough to try to avoid global warming.

Can't really see Shillary Crookedton getting impeached, her policies sound like hot air when her actions are in support of the status quo. I don't think enough people care enough to try and push anything serious.

Drumpf, on the other hand, faces potentially violent retaliation from the left and right, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's enough support to stick him under a legal hammer.

There is actually a thread if you want to discuss the emails.  There isn't a Trump thread but you could make that.

All this talk of protest votes and people don't remember that the presidential elections in the US are indirect. Your votes don't matter much because the real votes are cast by a group of electors selected previously and probably bribed/coerced by corporations and powerful parts of the government. Isn't that how Bush W won, even?

Even if everyone decided to vote for Walt Disney, Hillary would be elected because she's pro-Wall Street while Trump is... I don't even know.
