Eh, I just forget things exist if I use bookmarks. So I use tabs instead.

... there's probably another 30-50 open on the kindle, too, actually >_>

My Firefox crashes at around 40 tabs or so, I'm not sure how the hell that's possible.

It's not a matter of simply having tabs open (I do all the time), but the sheer volume of the number of tabs. Must be hell when you lose your session for whatever reason.
Little bit, yeah.  Not too bad, though. It fills back up pretty quickly, and I remember most of what's open anyway, in a general sense. Lot of it's just a bunch of pages from a single site lumped next to each other (LPs, fanfiction, etc., mostly.). Don't often have a problem with it, anyway, cept on the kindle.

Though yeah, firefox will crash like a little punk way before I reach that point. There's a reason I use opera classic. Mobile edition's pretty decent on that front, too. Caps off eventually but it'll keep several dozen open before that happens.

Hadn't even heard of it. Screenshots look... chromey, though. Which if it is doing what the main branch opera is, is a deal breaker. Might check it out at some point anyway, I'unno.

E: Ah, no, it looks like it's explicitly chromium based. Fuck that with a hundred pounds of angry flaming badger.

There's plenty of other people from other countries who talk in here from time to time, Reelya is from Australia too, Martinuzz is Dutch, Loud Whispers is from Britain, Sheb (in the post below) is from Belgium.
I don't know if I should feel offended for not being recognized, or proud for successfully blending myself in.

Giuliani continues to be Trump's complete bitch, saying that he "believes Trump" that the accusations of sexual assault from nine different people that he got were all false. At this point though, it's literally "more news at 11".

How much further into the depths of Trumpism can a 9/11 Mayor sink? Find out in the next episode, aired next week haha, more like "next day or two".

It's doing the exact opposite, actually. Adding features rather than taking away. And all customizable.
Feature list ain't the problem. Chromium is. Maybe vivaldi's not as bad as your average one, but I ain't going to be trying it to find out. Refuse t'be someone that enables people building off that damn thing by giving them more market penetration.

But yeah, back to the thread topic, heh.

E: Though that article.

Apparently someone firebombed a republican headquarters in Orange County, NC.

Spray-painted a swastika and the words "Nazi Republicans get out of town or else" on it.

Which is LCS-level irony.

Yep. I'm just sitting here watching idiots on social media prattle on about "you don't debate fascists, you smash them". I'd say reason is dead, but I'm pretty sure it was never alive.

That was already mentioned a few pages back. Twice I think.

There were always lots of people like that, it's just that now they feel like they can get out of the woodwork without fear. I mean, the GOP office got firebombed, and the majority of people in left-leaning places I know of have immediately tried to put it as a Trump's false-flag or as a method of GOP civil war.

It's like they don't quite understand that in a highly polarised society, it's not just the extremists on the losing side that resort to radical measures - the extremists on the winning side do that, as well, because they want to remove the possibility of their enemies winning from ever happening and find it most opportunistic to strike iron while it's hot and push their opponents off the map.

And, yes, I know it has been posted already. But I thought I might add something new here.

While there's definitely a point where one stops debates fascists and starts shooting, it's pretty reliably after people are already getting shot at, and we ain't at that point.

It does make me worried that the post-election will not be peaceful.
