Collective CYOA
« on: June 11, 2016, 01:49:58 am »

At suggestions in another topic of mine I decided to try my hand at a forum game. The rules are simple, I present a situation and you guys post suggestions for how the main character should react and I will write the outcome of each choice as the situation evolves. Choices will be chosen based on popular vote so I urge you to please + 1 to any suggestion you like, even if you decide to post your own.

If there is a tie I will attempt to combine the suggestions so please try to be reasonable and liberal with your pluses.

Pluses are not mandatory and you can plus your own suggestions, I merely ask you attempt to help create a cohesive narrative. Thank you.

You live alone in a small studio apartment, you live a simple life and work as a tech support specialist for general PC questions, you've come home from a long day of answering mundane questions and solving complicated riddles; like how to get the PC's cup holder working again.

You're about halfway through a nice shower as a sharp pain shoots up your arm. You look down and everything seems fine, you think nothing of it and finish your shower.

As you're drying off another, much sharper, pain shoots down your arm again causing you to bowl over and wince audibly.

What do you do next?

+1, except sans tourniquet. If we tie a tourniquet, they'll have to amputate the arm later.

Try doing things with your arm. Do we still have full motor control?

Call the emergency services.

You go into your bedroom and grab the housephone, you dial 911. The operator says:

"Yes, what is the nature of your emergency?"

Kiwis- Odd man out of both the animal and plant kingdoms.
Didn't we get the pilot? Can't we scan his brain?
If we did, +1, but I think they either got scrambled by the tractor beam or got blown out into space.
This is a normal discussion, folks.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.
