He's our friend now. We will wrap his neck in a Vine Whip and drag him along with us like some sort of pet.

+1. Can't we knock him out first and then take him with us, though?

Later, after we find some Leftovers (and give them to Weedle A), we can use Leech Seed on him and force him to eternally suffer and heal us.

@EP: I recommend looking at the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series and Pokemon Conquest for ideas on how to convert main-series moves to tile-based combat.

-1 to strangling. Bulbasaur presumably is not a psychopath.

That said, make it quite clear the consequences of a backstab.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Technically speaking, you can't strangle an insect. Its treachae runs along its body, and its head has no function in gaseous exchange.

Hm... What if we tied his tail to his horn, and held a vine attached to that?

Alternatively take a look at PTU and/or it's predecessor PTA, you can find downloads here.

...

You have fundamentally misunderstood the nature of this dimensional link, as you will shortly see.

Turn 2 - Player Phase

"So, in regards to Weedle—"

"—I'm going to spare him, of course. Was that ever in question?"

"Well, I was going to suggest that, but—"

"—And then I'm going to wrap his neck in a Vine Whip and drag him around like some sort of pet! It'll be hilarious!"

"U-Uh, what?"

"..."

"No comment? I thought you'd have something to say about that, actually! It seemed like the kind of crazy idea that you'd—"

"—Where did you get that idea?"

"I dunno. It just came out of the blue, I guess—no, not blue! Black! It was there, in darkest black!"

"Bulbasaur. You are being influenced."

"Well, yeah; you've been influencing me this whole ba—"

"Through words, yes, but that's not what I—this will take time to explain, so it can wait until later. Still... This is something we must discuss."

"Sounds fine to me, I guess! Now..."

Special Command: Bulbasaur, wrap a Vine Whip around Weedle A and drag him around like a pet.

[Chance of Success: 100% - No roll!]

"Wh-Why are you doing this?"

"..."

"I don't actually remember."

Enemy Phase

"Where on earth is Weedle A? A typical robbery would be over by now!"

"Sorry, did you expect me to care about you losers and your loser problems? If so, I'm gonna have to break it to ya: I don't. At all. You can go out and look for him, if you want, but... Well, don't come crying to me if he's dead."

"You never did care about us, did you?"

"Nah, not really. I just needed a couple'o'hands to threaten people for me—I was running out of cash. And now that I have some cash... Well, I think it's time to move on; I might lie low for a while, or maybe even form a new band!"

"You—I'll—"

"Hah, are you trying to threaten me? That's rich. You can't beat me—heck, you and Weedle Awful couldn't beat me together. You're just a couple of losers. Bye."

"I'd make you sorry you said that, but finding Weedle A comes first. This isn't the end!"

Venonat is gathering his loot.

Unvine Weedle A and try to explain wtf just happened.

Try to negotiate for peace unless livelihood is threatened.
