Oh, I thought it was clear - you are drowning. The drowned one's magic water caught you as well as the spiders - a bit of a side effect of you being so close and on the door and all.

"Do any of you know how to control drowning curses or anything like that?" You ask, trying not to get bit by the coughing bear.

((this character was stolen from a char of a now defunct (I had part in killing it) dnd minecraft server called gildorym. In it varion got attacked by drow, aka dark elves,  which resulted in him loosing his eye. So eventually e tracked them down, killed them and took the leader of the drow's eyes before leaving the drow with no eyes, no tongue, no hands, and no toes.  I thought I included that part in the back story of my semi psycotic very manipulative character)
