well yeah, i would be investing a lot of stuff in it. It also doesn't prevent fatigue or anything, so she could literally just be too tired/have suffered to much pain to continue fighting (being rezzed hurts)

It doesn't mean you will never lose a fight, but it does mean you will never die. Not Losing is less important than not dying  .

Of course like two people die onscreen in OP, so it probably won't be *that* big of a deal, but it is still OP . You can still use those blocks as normal, right?

Isn't it like literally a rule in the OP that, quote "You don't Die, you're just taken out of the fight for some reason or another"

i wonder if watching your captain get mostly disintegrated or something and then just get up again in a while would be demoralizing or inspiring

Both, though I'd imagine it'd depend rather heavily on the person.

Anyway, as far as a serious discussion of captainship goes... I'd say wait for the IC, and wait to see who actually does what.

You don't die when you hit zero hit points. That doesn't mean you can never die under any circumstances.

Dunno, it really depends on how he starts it. Are we starting as a crew, or strangers who form a crew? Or just made a crew? Its kind of up there with what our name/Jolly Rodger is.

The "Will of D" is on several powerful characters, though it isn't "automatic captain material" kind of thing. Most powerful characters don't have it, and there are only like 9 who showed up so far. And the group includes Jaguar D. Saul, who isn't impressively strong. Basically the only thing that it grantees is that they die with a smile on their face, and that is hardly something that makes you a good captain . Continuing that, of the 9, only 4 where pirate captains.
