Extra deadly husk clouds.
« on: May 23, 2016, 09:49:35 pm »

43.03.

So I found myself a nice evil spot in the world to start a fort and have some fun. It has husking clouds.

That can apparently husk the already undead. Oh my. I don't remember it being like this...

Edit: And my fort has fallen. A horse hair re-animated. And it is invincible. All attacks glance away or pass through. The entire fort fought it till everyone died of thirst....

Yeah, I use dfhack when this happens. Some things are just stupid, pulping hair should be extremely easy. "exterminate him" is the solution to the rare bugged unkillable creatures. In addition when the dwarf butcher something in an evil biome one would expect him to really pulp all the possible resurrectable parts, infact butchering should to that by default. When you butcher something do you not mutilate it horribly in a way?

Butchers don't cut animals apart, having no tools. They use a single beard-strike to reduce a creature to its component parts neatly. That way, the skin and hair is basically still in the same shape as the animal, but merely devoid of everything that it should be attached to.

A named spider who died centuries before I even played was helping rescue kids I had in fact rescued.

I imagine its more like staring at the beast with intense dwarviness willing the creature into its parts like italian spiderman does. This is also why butchering increases willpower.
