You win this game by specializing. Archery can go out since it's so terribly situational. Health is important and not something you can improve naturally, for the most part. I seem to remember in Squire 2 that we were a quite a sickly person.

So here we have a rather uncouth person who is somewhat intelligent and extremely deadly in combat. The two points in Reading and Writing is really important because this means we can write letters. Correspondence is SO important if you want to be able to use the friends you make. Not to mention that book reading is the best way we can improve heraldry and theology. Using our beginner's knowledge in heraldry we can find a knight to fight for.
