Noble Room Ownership

I know this is probably more difficult to implement than it sounds but...

It would be nice if a noble position could be given ownership of a room. For example, if I could my Mayor's bedroom, dining room and office to the noble position of Mayor, rather than the dwarf who currently hapens to hold it.

It would mean an end to the fiddly awkwardness of needing to re-assign a bunch of stuff every time my dwarves vote a diferent mayor. (Same goes for 'shit, my Guard Captain is dead.')

Ok, sorry. I did a bit of searching but it was pretty late.

(Also, last time I was hanging around the forums we were still trying to get our heads around these weird 'z-level' things. :p It's good to be back, though. :) )

Good heavens! I joined but a year or 1.5 ago, but that - that is at least seven years!

Welcome back, and no hard feelings for jumping on this topic. It is a fine suggestion, it's just not new.

I agree with this suggestion. It would be useful for the room to be assigned to whoever is mayor at the time. For extra realism, perhaps the broker or manager would have to process the reassignment of the room.
