From the description of the house, the bedrooms are quite far from where the majority of players are. So they probably can't hear them.

Also, as Elf said much earlier, it's difficult to muster up an emotional response to a character that we knew for, what, a day or two?

...I was in. I did not at all push for it to happen sooner and would have preferred it to happen later. So I'd like it if you wouldn't assign blame where it doesn't belong.

There's apparently a lot of them, and houses are more than a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, so is it that much of a stretch?

Also: They're rich. They may have soundproof bedrooms or something so that outside noise can't keep people up.

Yeah from what ive gotten from akroma we were actually supposed to get to know Nancy over a while before that event happened and it's a shame that didn't happen it would have been great I would have been surprised definitely and many of our characters would have actually been able to care hell I was only able to care because I imagined my own grandma and just gave Irene a lot of my real life experiences so I could actually care.

Okay I can understand that so Aurora is probably the only one who can hear her.
