No preference r.e. the note.Despecialization is another rather strange choice of talent.
Absorb stilet, absorb wings, develop proper moth wings, build many new webs, wait for a prey
Develop Ingestion juices and proboscis!
+1 to both.
We'll hopefully have enough energy to cover it all, but if not I'd prioritise the proboscis over the wings over the ingestion juices.
You feel your wings and stilet melting away into a strange green goop, which then slowly reforms. While you wait, you start making more webs in the trees. You swing from one branch of another, creating the main line of the web. Then back again, and once more, until the basic structure is complete. Then, filling in the substructure. By the time you're finished with the first web, the goop has retreated to reveal a new proboscis.
As you finish your second web, your wings unfold, and you're once again fully mobile. You're however, now almost critically short on energy, and none of your webs has yet caught anything.

Current look: A strange green creature with a chitin chield, about the size of a large insect. It has moth wings, and tiny, almost ineffective legs. It observes the world through it's tiny insectoid eyes, and a long, curling proboscis. Beware it's webs and secretions.

Butterfly
- Cocooning : The butterflies lifecycle involves the creation of a cocoon, followed by the liquefaction of the form, and rearranging of body parts
- Proboscis : A long, coiled mouthpart, which can be extended to reach food
- Irriscendent layers : A complex interplay of light gives butterflies many kind of colours.
Don't forget there's a library near the OP at the beginning of the thread, where all the DNA is kept. This is just a buffer for new stuff.
So, I've been keeping the mechanics very abstract for now. Does this work for everyone, or would you like to see more numbers, such as specific costs for specific abilities and such?
