Thanks for participating :]

Everyone, feel free to link your LPs or whatever from here, and thank you for giving so much love to this game. I'm curious to hear your impressions, haha >_<

This game is being received one hell of a lot better than the last published game I worked on. LOL
If you make the offer, it isn't really a shameless plug right?

version 1.0 of this post was ate by a power outage, then i drove myself into the office to try again

i don't have any particularly good reasoning for mentioning that, but now you can't unread it

I'll probably give it another run-through, see how things change with a different protagonist. Once the lights are back on, anyway.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Impression, ho! (Since I got lacking experience to run a LP or lacking time to run a thread modeled along this.)
* Tiruin glances admiringly in Sirus' general direction.

That said, I only have one tiiiiny thing to point out:
Attitude thrusters. :P
Sorry. x3 It's just that the intro + proceeding background sucked me into a nostalgic train of thought.

I loved the music and inclusive setting the game provides (There's no horrible flashiness! :D)

Was shocked at the start when I saw "Colonists: 1500"
Due to metaknowledge, I DIDN'T WANT ANYONE TO DIE! Since I guess that number usually told you something's going down.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I do love how those tiny incidences can bring out very vivid imagination, even only in text, imagining every tiny bit of a huge ship with physics and other factors making this happen.
Which became apparent in the intro drop-pod. Loved how vivid the art was, and those minor details (like the angle of refraction in the Pilot's capsule) was a nice touch.
Other than that tiny bit--I feel like reading a novel again! :D Nostalgic train back to my elementary days when I would bring a copy of Harry Potter all the way to school and back (as those giant books didn't fit well in my backpack -_-)
Goodness. The detail. If it wasn't for me being time constrained, I'd be finishing this in a day (or through the night...).

*thumbs up @Vector*
What's making me really love this aside from the art is the writing. That's quality writing there. Maybe it's me being inexperienced in this genre or whatever, but there's just this *something* about it that really gets me into it.
The music is also light and bubbly(?), with the hint of mystique and sci-fi. Fully instrumental background music, but very nice background music that's pleasing to my ears [due to my hearing condition] (FINALLY A SCI-FI GAME THAT DOESN'T USE METAL MUSIC X_x)
Love the option for 'character tone' being a beep beep boop as the text scrolls. :P
