Entity: The Rift

That which Isn't and That which Is.
They mingled once and now they're Gone.
The flesh is weak yet the spirit is Strong.
Beware the Void and Beware the Song.

Entity expenditure will be held off until we get a lay of the land.

Also @S34, Horror Knights use explicitly eldritch arcana Empowerments, so ye don't need to do type>school>discipline.

You could Technically learn mortal Arcana if we acquired books on it though. Ye would need an external energy source though. Explicitly eldritch reserves aren't quite the Vigor mortal arcana uses.

What was your holdings?
Was it..

Once the keep overlooking one border or another, repelling invaders times and times again against her mighty walls, protecting those whom it swore to keep safe?

A lord's estate in the middle of a fledgling village in the plains by a river?

a tower in the middle of fucking nowhere? away from everyone and everything?

Or something else?

Who were you in times before?

A Magi who dwell too deep into the Eldritch?

A Lord whose greed consumed his soul?

A Diviner with grand intentions?

An Outsider which does not belong?

Or something else?

Choose wisely as it will affect your starting locations and bonuses as well as disadvantages.

Our Holdings were once a cavernous Vault, buried deep beneath the surface. Created by ancient Magi to Seal what they could not control..

The Rift was once the creation of a coven of Magi. Their pride and joy.. We outgrew them.

They died. Sealing us with their last conscious thoughts..

The Seal Has Been Disturbed.

+1

For some reason, I thought that this game had just been posted today, so that's why I asked to be wait listed.

Yes, you can feel it. The disturbance that has awaken you, something have broke the seal.

Casting your sense out, to the very edge of your vault, you could feel it.

From that very first strike that stirred you awake, to the one that had breached into your chambers that the Magis of time long lost sealed you in.

The head of a pickaxe poking in, digging. Pulling. Breaking.

You cast your sense out and you could feel them, your Knights. They're still weak, much weaker than they once were. Still waking up.. but they're still yours, as they should be.

You have little time, the disturbance is getting louder, your hazy mind begin to clear up as more of the seal are broken away by strikes from Pickaxes.

Reaching within yourself, you could still feel that power within you, the power to make that which isn't to that which is. It's pitiful compared to what you once had, but it will do for now.. It must do for now.

What do you do?

Can the knights do things yet or are they still sleeping?

Either way, the Rift will wait until they grow closer, then either bend home to its will, or kill them.

The Entity is not a suggestion, Kevak plays as the Entity. You can of course give suggestions to them as you are their trusted Knights.

The Knights are still waking up, confused, dazed, but you can attempt to do stuff without the Entity to order you around yet if you want.

You can even ignore what the Entity tells you to do if you feel like it! but that might put you on a bad foot.
