Was that generated by the game? This is incredible.

It might look unreasonable in words, but I imagine it makes quite nice heraldry.

I like how everything is either falling or suspended.

Also prostrating circles.

!!cats!! is a natural result of worldgen + dwarf mode + McStumpy

It is inevitable.

As for the 10 million wombat demons - I prefer the unnumbered option. "The dwarves are surrounded by anvils". Who's gonna count 99,999,999 plump helmets?

That moment when other dwarves are looking at your computer wall, and ALL of the adds on the link you're viewing are engravings of erotic women...

Reminds me of a Mesoamerican carving, something like this maybe?

You do realize that this feature realistically took 2-3 days to make while doing other stuff, while multithreading might take 6-12 months of dedicated programming, right?

Posts like this almost make me wish bay12 had a downvote system.

To add to the post above mine, said year of programming would likely introduce new bugs on top of not actually adding anything to the game, something that I doubt Toady would be happy with. We all want multithreading, but it's rather absurd to equate it and this feature.

The one hundred thousand cats are burning. The five hundred dwarves are massacring the one hundred thousand cats.

I imagine this looked like the famous battle scene in 300. Just with cats. That are on fire.
