Penetration doesn't ordinarily penetrate Toughness bonus, only AP.

And when firing on Overcharge the long-las gets +1 damage plus the Short Range bonus wasn't applied (which would make it 3 DoS), therefore the damage from our guardswoman's shot should be 2d10+4.

I used my minor action last turn to tie my whip around my las-pistol.

Do our FP reset at dawn or dusk? If they reset tonight, I think I'll push as much as needed and use my fate points to give me enough of a bonus to get past the increased DC.

I know I'm going to regret this, but...

I'll use all but one of my fate points on manifesting this power. I'll push it for 2 extra PR, and use my remaining fate point to reroll any potentially lethal (to me) results on the Psychic Phenomina table.

Also, why the heck did we make our melee specialist a Blank? I think she might actually turn out to provide more defence against Psychic Powers to the enemy than to our own team, on average.

If they affect Powers that are near you, like my snake, you should be near the back or middle of the group, so that your aura covers the rest of the party. If they affect the powers of nearby Psykers, why was my las-snake affected?

In other words- does your aura disrupt the powers of nearby Psykers, just disrupt nearby powers, or both?

At the moment I don't have an aura. That was fluff.

When I do buy talents, however, there's only one talent that would really be useful to a gun blank - it grants bonuses to resist psychic powers to those nearby. Obviously, you would not want the enemy to gain bonuses, so you'd stay back and shoot.
I have not bought this talent. I do not plan to buy this talent.

The other talents - i.e. the overwhelming majority - inhibit psykers themselves and demons. Perhaps you're over estimating the size of the aura - an aura is willpower-bonus metres. So at the moment it would be 4 metres. Unless I'm in melee most of the talents I plan to buy would be worthless. The talents I plan to buy also reduce the psy rating of an psykers with the radius - so you can have me next to you if you wish, but I wouldn't recommend it.

TL:DR unless I'm in melee I might as well not have bothered with a blank
