Key, hashtag symbol.
As you present the trinket to the symbol, it twists and shifts, turning into a self-luminous key that turns clockwise and dissipates. The building shudders and splits down the middle, swinging inwards like a set of doors. Gravity shifts ninety degrees and you find yourself falling in, towards the what appears to be an illustration of the Qliphoth with anime eyes, spray-painted on the cosmological horizon. You fall forwards, the image shrinking as you draw closer until it vanishes and you collide with it at terminal velocity.
From the viewpoint of everyone else, you never took out your trinket, you just walked straight into the building, through a solid wall.
You find yourself standing in what could reasonably pass off as a swanky hotel suite were it not for the sixteen beds and one of the walls being transparent, revealing an enormous clock face one with hands that seem to randomly jump backwards and forwards with each tick, seemingly at random though still slowly moving themselves clockwise overall. Nonetheless it has all the amenities you would expect from a hotel suite. The windows show a view of a forest clearing, one that appears to be remarkably clean and lacking in insects. The balconey door opens out into the clearing, with suite and the slice of the surrounding forest kept within a shimmering dome, like a scene trapped in a snowglobe, albeit with far less snow.
There are numerous notes placed neatly on one of the benches. One of them with typed text in enormous red letters simply reads
LEAVE BEFORE THE CLOCK STRIKES TWELVE. All the other ones are handwritten words of encouragement, each by a different person, some signed by multiple people.
((Once a character is inside, they can rest. Resting restores all stability points and lets them reset their Hangover to a value between zero and their current value.))
((Might be a few days before I update this. Uni's starting again and I've got other matters happening in my life, so it'll take a bit of time for me to figure out how to assert some of the plots without railroading or relying on people to go retrace their steps.))
