Well, I was thinking of Alchemy being the actual combining of magic potions or substances, with Herbalism being the obvious skill to get botanical ingredients for that. I'm open to suggestions if you think that's too heavy a split or wanted something different.

((Ah, well, that's fair enough, especially if Herbalism doesn't make things, then a gathering/using split is perfectly reasonable. If perhaps a bit harder then I thought it would be. I did want my alchemy as a support to my flesh crafting, gather chemicals which can be used to produce effects in my test subjects, but in the end it appears that I ether wasn't clear with my desires or failed to gather information on what skills would actually be of use. In the end, it doesn't bother me overly much, I just was confused by what the skills actually did. Certainly Alchemy will be eventually useful. Probably? I'm not sure how hard the splits actually are (although so far things have tended to be on the side of more strict splitting it seems, so presumably I'll find a use for alchemy at some point.))

"Yes yes! This first monster beast is most or at least somewhat or at least not totally in appropriate for my glorious experimentation! The first step to our conquest of all this land of hateful rain and wet!"

"What are your skills beside channeling and recognizing my obvious greatness?" Malacent asked the strange and bulbous reptile-thing.

Major Action: See if the rain ward can be fixed with Sculpting, by reverting the change and making it into a protective mushroom once more.
Major Action: Provide Channeling assistance to anyone who needs it for useful projects. In case there's none, see if Blacktongue can teach me how to fling black lightning like she does.
Ano's Action: Cheer up, train harder at the banjo.

"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Since I'm actually making my golem this time, try to get some channeling help with that again.

Somewhere in an appropriated tent lab.

"Hum heh heh heh! Yes! This is certainly ideal and perfect four my work and will inevitability become a creation known far and wide!" Sjig cackled insanely to himself as he worked over the glistering viscera of the Snakipede, the beast stretched over and staked to a plank of wood with thin silver needles from Sjigs pitiful lab. It's carapace carefully pulled upward to reveal it's inner workings. "Yes. Pain is ideal." Sjig muttered, running a thin claw along a section of nerve endings, a spark of magic detaching them and curling them along his finger, before he stretched them over to another part of the body and reattaching them with all the care of a mother fondling her child. The beast let lose a terrible sound as unimaginable pain raced though it's body. "Yes yes! This will do very well my pet! Verrrrry well indeed!"

Major action: Use fleshcrafting to rewire the Snakipede for compliance and give that sucker some basic commands.
Major action: More hunting! A snakipede will only be the start! If the first major action was successful, bring that beasty along as a test of my changes and it's abilities.

Minor Action: Refine Nik-Nak's poison berries into a concentrated solution that will kill anything that isn't immune to poison that injests it, then give the result back to them.
Minor Action: Begin taming what I've caught and Nik-Nak's beast (with supervision from an instructor, if there is one available (Miya, perhaps?)).

Minor action: Obviously don't allow ether of these.
Minor action: (If it is one at least) attend the healing tents to try to get my wounds and parasites expelled.

Seems like we're only missing Demonicspoon and AbstractTraitorHeros actions now. (And also Tntey, but he seems to have dropped out before the game started so I guess he doesn't really count)
