I just started playing Dwarf Fortress again (version 42.4 or something like) and I've been having some weird issues. I don't know if these are bugs or if I am doing something wrong. First off, goblins aren't appearing in the cage menu. I build a cage, but goblin prisoners aren't showing up. Beak Dogs, for example, are, and I can assign all my beak dogs to one cage, but sentient goblin prisoners are not. Any help?

It's been reported as a bug. No intelligent species are showing up right now.

Awesome, thankyou for the reply. Also, my dwarves are ignoring animal corpses even when I have designated refuge and corpse stockpiles. Theres plenty of idle dwarves with the labor.

If the corpses are outside, make sure

• > [r] > dwarves collect refuse outside [y] and bodies [y]

And even then, there's a bug where corpses are considered outside, but appear to the player as inside

I noticed this too. The caged goblins are piling up, how do i get rid of them? Can i trade them away? I know there was a bug in an earlier version but i do not know if it is still there

Bugtracker says 'fixed in next version' so the only solution is to wait a while longer (or apply magma).
