1]Make an effort to actively spend more time with my family. I don't get much time with the wife and kids, and I need to capitalize on that time.
2]Figure out a way to go on a date with the wife. Shoot for once a month at least.
3]Lose weight. Doesn't matter how much. Starting the year at 215. Currently at 225.
4]Get promoted or get a new job. Doesn't matter which. Make more money.Nope. There are no jobs here for me, and promotions are all but nonexistent with my management.
5]Get child support fixed. I'm paying way more than necessary.
6]Write a short story. Complete it. Doesn't need to be NaNoWriMo, just something. Fucking DONE. No, you can't read it.
7]Programming. Make some kind of progress into understanding the arcane.
8]Buy a bicycle and ride it to work when it gets warmer.
9]Work on my game. At least a little bit.
10]Use the Ninja to make veggie/fruit smoothies that I'll actually drink. Drink no less than two per week.
11]Have dinner with friends at least a couple of times.
12]Join the local MMA gym.

1. Learn isiXhosa. Properly. None of this pansy partial-speaking and pidgin.

Ehehe. About that.

2. Get into tutoring. Preferably in conjunction with the above.

Gainful employment! I finished a contract last Wednesday and am almost halfway in another.

3. Take singing up a notch. I'm holding steady, but not really improving. I want to get it up to 'good' or 'great', not just 'above average'.

I performed at a gig last night. Didn't embarrass myself. Wasn't stunning either. Withholding judgement until I hear the recording.

4. Get through any one major project. Could be the experimental physics, could be something computational, whatever. Learn/improve a skill and do something awesome.

Well, I haven't done anything mind-blowing, but I did construct a decent spellslinger cosplay and my tumblr seems to somehow be becoming noticed slightly.

Not the worst. Could be a bunch better though.

This turned into a complete disaster. I'm marking this as a fail.

1. Obtain the body I desire. Exercise and change the eating habits. - No progress to speak of here. Let's move on.
 
2. Develop my artistic talents. This means creative writing, sketching and calligraphy practice. I may decide to actually try to learn the guitar this year. Prepare for NaNoWriMo accordingly and actually write more than 400 words on it this time. - Sort of meh. I doodle during class. NaNoWriMo is gonna be a no-go this year because of graduation stuffs, LSAT preparation and law school applications.

3. Keep working on the anxiety depression. Last year I made quite a bit of progress in this. I need to keep going. - I'm fairly certain the group therapy sessions aren't going to ever start, but I'm managing just fine by myself, thank you very much.

4. Work on learning coding. My dad was self-taught and I can be too. Acquire books to learn it. - I'm starting to think this isn't gonna be a thing this year.

5. Get the GPA up ASAP. That means getting my backside moving immediately. The semester just started. Now is the perfect time. - Goddammit, stop skipping class! You just need .2 more GPA points to get where you need to go!

6. Write in my journal every night. Seriously. this shouldn't be this hard. It will help with 2 and 3. - I have a journal?

7. Read at least 25 books this year. - Finally. Something I can say I'm doing fairly well on. 14 books read as of yesterday. \o/

8. Prepare myself for law school and my future career. Seriously! I'm a Junior senior! I need to do this. - Haven't heard crap from the Mock Trial stuff. Joined the Pre-Law thing though.

9. Broaden the social life even more. - I have something that resembles a group of friends. I fear I may have gone to quickly with this because I socialize too much for my brain to handle, so I've been slacking off a bit lately.

10. Practice my religion and be more open about my beliefs. - Basically declared it to my family. No negative reactions. Most of my friends know about it and are very accepting.

11. Manage my finances. - I have like $10 in my bank account now.

12: Get organized. - I am very much organized. Now if only I can actually do the stuff I plan...

At least this year might not be a total failure for me.

I have purchased paints and pastels that I enjoy working with. Stress has prevented me from really doing anything creative. I have been writing a bit though.

Most likely will be going an extra semester. But whatevs. Just gives me more time to decide what the hell I'm gonna do with my degree.

9. Broaden the social life even more. - Still keep semi-regular contact with my group of friends, am trying to repair a relationship with my ex best friend. And may have found a couple new friends through group therapy.

10. Practice my religion and be more open about my beliefs. - No time = No practicing of the religion. Aside from singing and thinking about it in the car.

11. Manage my finances. -  Well I don't have a job currently, so I don't have finances to manage.

12: Get organized. - Am already organized for next semester. Let's do this!

Well, I accomplished the first step, and I came up with the parts of the second step that makes it more concrete. I also did step four, six, seven, nine, and ten a lot this year. I forgot about 11 and 12. I guess now is a good time to start brainstorming for next year.

I've tried to do mine but am embarassed to not mention the exact progress in many parts...because of either busyness or depression o_O

Although I have done the thank-you cards part, I haven't a template to use for emailing others or PMing others on Bay12 :I So I can't even say that's done at all (because I srsly want to send some to you dudes).
