Hey guys,

I know there are a few incremental game friends here, so maybe some of you will like this. It's a little game I worked on the past few weeks.

Click

If you like this kind of game, give it a try, tell me what you think :)

Ok I don't typically play these games (but I do see the appeal) and one of the first things I noticed was that you can't spam click the 'go fish' button. Is this by design? I remember when I played Coockie Clicker I'd see how many cookies I could get per second just by clicking as fast as possible, but it's easily exploitable with a macro.

E: Also, when you get an office worker, the dollar total should also show how many fish you sell per second (like how you see how many fish you get per second)

Alternatively, show the net fish change rather than the gross fish income.

Does this game evolve or is it just a number game?

Numbers so far. You do get better fishers, but they all have the same deal- exponential unit cost and fixed fish income.
I liked Candy Box and A Dark Room, because they had orthogonal game play in between all the idling. Based on the amount of idle games out there that don't have it, I'm in the minority.

Nono. Candy box and Dark Room were great :)

The game doesn't "evolve" it's just more units with bigger numbers. I don't know how to "evolve" from that. Well there's the ascension thing which makes the numbers even bigger. :P

Yes. This is so you can't use an autoclicker :p. The button is only important for the first few minutes of the game anyway, so there's that.

Well you can start there. more units of measurement. You start with fish, sell it to get money. You use that money (to hire people, but also) to buy a cannery. Cannery makes "tuna cans", which make more money, but only if you have the fish. Then, like, restaurants or dolphin research labs or something.

Played for 2 minutes... I could feel the pull. This could addict me very easily. I stopped playing for my own sake.

I think you're onto something here, though. Keep at it. :)

I wondered why Office workers would sell fish, instead of fish merchants.
But then I thought that's exactly what an office boss would make you do if he could.

Space (to catch alien fish) and the Dark Arts (to resurrect eaten fish) :P

So, are nukes the end of the game? I noticed that you unlock a new thing every 5 things of the previous thing you get, and with 5 nukes nothing new unlocked.

Yes, nukes are currently the final unit type. Congratulation. ;D

It's alright. Play candy-box or the in the woods one for intresting developments. Swarm sim is nice, too and has the extra layer of "Casting" stuff, which this lacks.
