Do the pistols use a different round? As far as I can tell from research, they use the same nonsensically-cased ammunition as normal bolters.

As far as we're concerned, the Space Marines might, I don't really know a lot about them (I just remember that I had a huge damn discussion about bolt pistols being caseless back in the days, which is why bolt pistols in Exterminatus mod for Source are caseless), but the Imperial Guard and Sisters use the scaled-down versions, as they do with regular ones, lore wise. I do not have sources on any of this or intend to search. Anyways, it would be still quite weird for us to get all the cases unless we use a brass catcher or something.
