Lidia was obviously not paying attention at orientation, because nobody is trying to herd the students to bed. Lights are off at 9, but that doesn't mean that you have to be in the dorms trying to sleep. Admittedly most of the other students are going to do just that, but just so that they don't get yelled at by the Dons for causing too much noise stumbling around in the dark.

"I'm trying to make sure that crazy Hana chick isn't around. Like, earlier I was telling her about how there was a little spat between me and this dragon person, and she wanted to go talk it out! I said no and then I ran when this other dude tried to find her to get her over to us so I booked it and she chased me! I lost track of her and she ended up teleporting in front of me, so I tripped over her and broke my nose on the ground. I had to wait like, ten minutes before she left and I could get to the nurse with some confidence that I wouldn't be assaulted by some pink abomination."
Dave never stops looking around for Hana. If he did happen to see her he'd stop talking and bolt off again.

"Sure is. Lets head back, we can explore more later." she turned around and tried to find her way back to the school.
