Specializations:
Demonic eyes: Able to see in pitch black and through illusions. Glow's in the dark noticeably and make's it harder to sneak in dark rooms. Passive.
Fiendish magic: Magic specialized around causing pain primarily. Require's line of sight. But otherwise, can cause mild pain with just a thought. More concentrated and powerful pain require's her to either be close or concentrate. More may be able to be unlocked or learned of this magic through an encounter with a skilled user of this magic. Mastery of the sword and shield: They are rather amazing with a sword and shield and those who face her in a straight up fight will find themselves's struggling when she wield's a sword and shield. Passive.
Fiendish blood: Being half fiend has some benefit's if one were to tap into it. By focusing on the fiendish malevolence churning in her soul she can call upon untold strength. Fortitude and magical Potential.
However, this certainly has a price the effects are liable to only remain for at the very most a few hour's but the change it will leave will be permeant. Her body embracing an aspect of her blood permanently making her appear more fiendish. Such thing's as Talons. Regrown horns. Regrown tail's or ghastly extra appendages are possible and the terror of some of the things that may grow may truly terrify even the hardiest of soul's and could potentially even affect herself quite negatively! Whether Healthwise. Magic wise or even dare one may fear SOUL WISE!Description:
Rather short overall being only 4ft6 but with strong stout shoulders and piercing almost...glowing gray eye's like a cat's in terms of the Pupils. They have two small purple nub's remanant's of her horns, of course, Underneath her flowing long blond hair and a purple nub on her backside where a spaded like long tail used to be.
They are dressed in rather ragged knightly like armor with golden embroidery and shoulder pauldrons and flowing white but red stripped torn cloth. Their entire outfit is seemingly in disrepair a rusty silver sword lies on her hip..looking in near state of destruction but still serviceable for now. The only thing that has held strong her shield.
Her body hold's the scar's of a lance through her chest. A puncture wound in her breastplate visible. This hole leads to a clear scar not too old in fact. The scar is on her back as well. It appear's she must have been impaled. Their lip's bear a small scar and their face...may have some light bruising. They are missing their left toe and right pinky. They are left handed.
How did you become part of the Omega Legion: She quite frankly is a traitor to the realm. Leading her knight's as the grandmaster of her order she attempted to rebel against the Aristocracy and the Queen.
It went poorly. Many could say she fought hard aboard her horse. Many could say that even when her men were falling around her she never gave up hope. Not many could say the despair on her face was faked when she was skewered off her horse by the enemy commander and her men were routed and quickly executed.
Bleeding. Hurt. Dying. Her rib's many of them shattered to bits a hole in her chest and surrounded by an army. With only her sword caked with blood. She attempted to rise. To fight. But quickly she was beaten down. Bleeding to death. She was sure it was over. However. Her talent. Was seen as useful. It wouldn't do to waste it now, would it? Tied up and given medical care the bare minimum for her to live and perform she was sent to omega legion.....and now she had arrived..about to be branded.
Background: Born as the offspring of a ...rather traumatized nun and a voracious cultist summoned Incubus. They did not have the best of starts to this world. Being stuck with a rather distant mother and well never even getting to see her father. She mostly raised herself alone in the church surrounded by people that spoke of her as a devil spawn. As a monster, something that should be purged that should be burned at a stake and executed for the good of the people and some say even for the good of whatever humanity was in the abomination's soul.
This rather negatively impacted. Tiefling sentiment has never been great considering the usual way of conception and though she was not destined for evil superstition, of course, prevailed far often than not she found herself jeered at and avoided even outside the church when she was allowed out. For most of her childhood, this remained a constant to the point where she had literally mutilated herself in hopes that the jeering would lessen. She sawed off her own horn's leaving them mere nub's underneath her hair and chopped off her tail. It..had been agonizing awful and one of the most painful experiences of their life.
As she entered her teen year's...she came to not regret her choice. It had paid in dividends fewer people if she kept her head down her eye's outta her face noticed her demonic heritage and she was able to actually befriend a few people for once in her life. These few connections helped bolster their self-esteem greatly and helped her develop her social skill's and also helped her discover a few thing's about herself. Allowed her to read about her own heritage and what it was that she was. It fascinated her and she grew over time to accept her Power's training in secret day by day to try to master her fiend heritage. She discovered many things she could see in pitch black. She could cause pain even though she embarrassingly discovered it on herself using the mirror. Finally, she actually had some fiendish strength that she could damn actually draw on!
This went on for quite a while unknown to her mother the church and the city. No one knew and that was quite good. She surely would have died if she had been discovered earlier. Killed on the spot for embracing such a foul heresy in the eyes of the church of Rothar. A church dedicated of course to the eradication of fiends and demons under the jurisdiction of Rothar god of Protection. Unfortunately, she couldn't hide it forever.
She was discovered eventually. When an important bishop arrived. Her skill in the fiendish Magic's was sniffed out almost immediately. Grabbed and about to be ended helpless and terrified. Her life was spared by one man. A Knight.Claiming to be a worshipper of Rothar, in reality, having only noticed what was happening from outside and rushing in. They swore an oath to take the half fiend as their personal squire and to bring them to the light. The bishop...was satisfied.
Taken with all her possessions. Mainly because she owned few possessions. She was taken on the open road and toward's the place of the Knight's of the Aegis. A knightly order dedicated to the protection of the common citizenry! Brought in they were admittedly stunned many a time by the opulence and amount of squire's and knights milling about and training willing to help defend the realm.
It was here that she learned her skill with the blade and shield. It was here that she grew disciplined. It was here that she grew strong and bold and flourished for the first time in her life. It was here that she cried when her mentor told her that he was proud of her and accepted her as an official knight of the order. It was here. Where she managed to rise in ranks to Grandmaster after years of hardwork and her devotion to the common man.
It was here that her mentor Sir Galloway The Kind was Murdered.Standing by his coffin hands clenched and tear's flowing from her cheek's for the first time in year's sobbing for the man who had been the closest thing to a father she had ever had. He had been murdered by the hands of the local baron of the city. They knew it to be true it was made clear.
His death had been a warning. Telling them to mind their self. Telling them to avoid the corruption and bribery that happened among the Nobel's that caused the innocent to starve or be hung or killed. They had been murdered by the hands of the aristocracy.
An Aristocracy that hurt the common man. That killed her mentor. That bribed and was filled with corruption. Innocent me hung while they laughed and held parties. The Knight's of the Aegis and the baron's relation's had always been tense. Living on his land in a fort running their order they were expected to pay taxes and oblige their law's even though they got in the way of the solemn oath that the knights must swear.
-Never let injustice Reign.-Never accept Bribery.-Never let any stop you from protecting the common man.The murder of one of their knights. The assassination that had been done the brutal mutilation and desecration and disrespect for the man's body.
It was the breaking point for the Knights. In the dead of night, the baron's castle was razed and he was slaughtered leaving his castle. Seizing the city known as Galen within the Queen's realm. Open rebellion began. Peasant's joining to fight alongside the knight eventually making them number 10 thousand strong overall. About only 200 or 300 of those were the actual Knights and their squires.
They moved quickly and swiftly overrunning the local county and region quickly. Before it, all went wrong. The Queen dealt with the problem with an army led by one general Lazarus. A skilled commander heading out with double the men of her own army. It was when they clashed extremely obvious the outcome. Destruction of the army of the knights.
Formed mostly of peasant militia in poor armor and with farming implements mainly for weapons and maybe just maybe a rare weak mage they melted like butter before the well-trained soldiers and cavalry of the enemy charging with her knights she found her men falling beside her and was impaled upon the lance of General Lazarus. Her men fleeing and unable to rescue their leader melted into the countryside having lost many of their numbers.
Disorganized and scattered many died and were executed. What currently remain's a poultry....2 or so thousand men headed by the remaining 50 or so knights with 10 squires alongside them. They fight a losing battle a rebellion against a superior force and kept only afloat due to the superior leadership of the lead knight among them.
Now her rebellion in tatter's she can only wonder what will become of her knights. She can only hope for one thing. That she will survive omega legion. Survive flourish and come out with allies who can help her rally her knights and lead a revolution against the aristocracy and usher in an age of prosperity for the common man.
