Awrights, now that I've trimmed my rotation down and made a fine new addition, here goes, in no particular order:

1. Karan S'jet, AKA Kushan/Hiigaran Fleet Command of Homeworld; I don't remember.
2. The eponymous Space Battleship Yamato; ditto.
3. Freaky elf dude? I don't remember where it's from, but I originally encountered him on /tg/ and cropped+rotated to my satisfaction.
4. Illya; once again, don't remember.
5. Nanoha and regenerating yams; guess what?
6, 7. Animations ripped from something which will remain unnamed. Just know that if you recognize it I will silently reassess what I think of you, even if I don't judge you for it.

What? It's got pretty fine animations for pixel-art stuff, whatever else you want to say about it.

Yep. I have multiple stealth-animated avatars in my rotation.

The boyish anime avatar is a linarted version of something from an anime selfie toy. The catgirl avatar is a contortion of said, and all the rest are ?? original lineart.

Sorta the point, yeah. I happened across one of 'em a while back, followed the rabbit-hole all the way down to the source (which was several steps away from what I'd originally been led to believe it was), and stuck the gifs in a folder that I only happened back across today; it'd be remiss of me to not offer the same opportunity for other people.

I drew mine in a paint program when I was going through a phase of applying tron lines to everything.  It's kind of too small to see properly on this site, though.

Wait, wait, I think I know where you traced them to, because I happened across something matching that description while I was looking. If it's the fan project I'm thinking it is, someone attributed the animations/sprites to them despite them being ripped from something else.

You know you'd think that for a relatively obscure anime it'd be pretty easy to find basically anything to do with it, if only by elimination. Instead there's hundreds of pages all with the same copy-pasted summary of the thing everywhere.
