What is your profile pic and how did you get it?

What is your profile pic, where did you find it/make it, etc.?

Mine was made using http://www.innawoods.net. It's a website for making characters. The people who made the char creator were trying to use the assets in a game, but it seems to have been abandoned...  :'( What could have been, eh?

Mine's Marxy Marx, from Dead Philosophers In Heaven. It's essentially Karl Marx disguised as Groucho Marx.

The cat ears were added by a forumite - I don't quite remember who - as part of an avatar fad that never quite took off.

I guess both of our profile pictures are both remnants of dead creations...

Solid Snake, as rendered in the hiimdaisy parody of MGS. I got it by isolating Snake from a panel using GIMP.

It's an enemy from Kirby 64. I downloaded a ROM (fair use,) recorded the animation on the enemy info screen, then painstakingly edited out the background in each frame.

Edit: Forgot to mention I wrote an AutoHotKey script to unpause the emulator at a fixed interval to take screenshots. I didn't know about Gifcam at the time.

I'm using a rotator between the two.

Girlcat is from some webcomic or another someone linked here a while ago - I was just amused by the idea and wanted an avatar change - except with GIMPed out background.

o_ o is a ripped and edited figure from a scientific paper on something like a yeast colony used in some experiment, with the '_' originally being a size reference, a micrometer or something, which was on one of the slides in a course I was attending.
