1. No, they're this weird force that enemies dropbeheb you die. You collect them automatically by being close enough. There are actual items you can use to turn them into souls, though.

2. ...I dunno.

Souls are money, yup.

You get them from killing enemies or you can use the souls of lost undead some of you are holding.
Your soul count is team-wide since screw the hassle of individual soulcounts.
You can find it below the XP count on every turn you've had.

Thanks for the answer! See, I tried searching for the word 'souls' in the IC thread, but I got too many hits. :V Also I haven't had any turns, unless you count several months of passively aggressively posting short actions and deliberately paying the least amount of attention. Ahem...

Also, I'm going to handwave Iris adding souls to the 'pot', even if she actually did or did not. Just in case there is something I need to buy. We're like, combining fates or some junk!

I do suppose I must edit to account for the time-lapse. Let's just assume she went to Damon when the shopkeeper approached him, and afterwards, or maybe during, she struck up a conversation with Sacha and began to paint her afterwards. Sacha can appear as her non-emotionally scarred prior incarnation!
