Sigh and goddammit.
Well, since I went and wrote it down, here you go.
Sorry if the formatting isn't perfect, I did it by hand and haven't made an FEF sheet in a while.
It's also hard to figure out a weapon stat block if I don't know if I'm starting with a sword (thief trainee) or a book (scavenger)

Impes was always an enthusiastic child. He'd verily hurl himself into games with the other children, climb trees with abandon, and sometimes bury himself in his studies. When the dark came, it did not come for Impes first.
But Impes was fairly clever. He saw the darkness coming before humanity's fire was fully gone. He could see the direction the world was going, and sought out a way to fix it... or, failing that, become strong enough to live in the newer, darker world. He "acquired" some books on magic from cursed people with bigger problems, and immersed himself in study with his usual gusto.
"Say, you know these Ancient Magic books? You can wield them like weapons to use magic, but... have you ever actually read one? It's very interesting."
He didn't just study intently, he threw himself at it. As the world around him grew darker and darker, he found he wanted it. He found patterns. Made notes. Tested theories. Acquired more books. Eventually, he devised a ritual: one to graft himself with a tattoo of geometric magic, and grant himself the gift of telekinesis.
He succeeded.
It was awful.
He cast the spell to brand himself, and fell unconscious. When he woke up, the brand was not quite the one he had designed: it was largely similar, yes, but the middle had been replaced with... something else. And it had taken part of him from himself. He no longer felt his own drive. He no longer wished to dive headlong into challenges. He no longer even felt like himself.
"I... don't enjoy this", he mused sullenly. "I wonder if there's a way to get myself back."
He once again took to studying, but this time with a grim frown instead of vigor. He eventually found a promising answer: Truskhang, where the fate of all men is forged. He covered the tattoo on his should with his cloak, packed some rations, and started walking. He didn't even bother saying goodbye. There are fewer and fewer people recently, anyway. He simply bade his book come to him, and left.
In terms of fluff, my character uses telekinesis to facilitate all of his skills. In terms of tactics... stack ALL the hit/evade buffs, and blink-tank like crazy!
