It's midnight. The moon is shining upon the sleepy town of Magellan, when suddenly a loud explosion shakes the calm town from it's peaceful slumber.
The sliding doors of the local megastore have been sabotaged and other entrances have been blown up, sealing ten unfortunate souls inside. Those poor souls are you.
Suddenly, a booming voice starts talking to you through the speaker system.

You are here, because three of you have been somewhat... disloyal to our franchise. In fact, they have been smuggling bombs inside to close us up for good!
Now, because we all love our liberties and second amendment rights I have decided to solve this problem the way our proud country solves it's problems, that is with voting and shooting it in the face!
Now, each day you will elect a sheriff. Said sheriff will have the right to lawfully kill the person he suspects to be a traitor! Ain't that just grand?

Whichever your reaction was, it's time to celebrate, for today, we play a different breed of mafia than before.
In this installment, instead of of simply voting someone you want to lynch, you vote for someone to be granted a gun! The person with a gun will then choose a person to be killed... or not. At night, scum will decide on who do they want to kill. The traitors win when they outnumber the townies. Scum shall be randomly chosen by me and shall contact each other via the forum private message system.
There are ten people in total, two scum, one semi scum and seven townies.
The Traitors win when they outnumber the townies. They know each other and the Semi Scum.
The Knifer (scum) - You are the guy who actually who has the last say on who do you assassinate this night, so if you leave any evidence and it's found, you have a problem.
The Mastermind (scum) - Twice per game you may fabricate evidence of someone else's treason on the corpses of murdered people. If the Knifer is dead you are the one that decides who gets assassinated by ordering the Mercenary to stab people.
The Townies win when they kill all scum and semi scum scumbags.
The Kind Soul (town) - Twice per game, you may jump and save the person that is about to be lynched. This carries a 50% chance of killing you instead! You automatically reveal when you use this ability.
The Shop Detective (town) - You may investigate corpses of the people killed by scum and get clues on the killer's identity.
The Wannabe Investigator (town) - Once per game, you may check an alignment of a player.
The Paranoid (town) - Once per game you may lock yourself in a room for a night and prevent an assassination attempt on yourself.
The Boring x3 (town) - Yawn. No special abilities for you!
The Semi Scum is a peculiar role. If lynched, they send me a PM in which they tell me whether they align with the scum or the townies.
The Mercenary (semi scum) - You were hired by the mastermind to act as backup and your loyalties are shaky. If lynched, you may accuse someone of being scum. Depending on whether you align with the townies or traitors after death, you win when the side you aligned with wins. If you live to the end, you are treated as scum. If the Knifer dies, you are the stabbing person but the Mastermind decides on who to kill.
