Interesting. Telepathic whales and the Nephilim.
So. Godhood and jet interception. Couple of problems here.
One, the two are a bit mutually exclusive. We probably don't want to try demolishing miliary gear while also registering a Youtube channel. Unless we're going to film it, at the very least, but even that tends to interfere with our ability to receive donations.
Two, the two aren't mutually exclusive. On their ends, I mean. Half the world is worshiping us won't stop anyone in the other half from siccing jets on us if they feel so inclined.
Of course, with instant communication, flying machines, and presumably raw numbers, we're probably going to have to accept that we can't really go it alone any more. Even if they're not especially dangerous, the sheer nuisance of human machines dropping explosions on us before outrunning our curses probably makes outright hostility against all humans everywhere infeasible. We're going to need allies, be it fanatical worshipers or just polite neighbors. Some kind of organization we can slot into.
Alas, we're several centuries and an alarming degree of change behind on that, so it's time for another round of Let's Ask Sophie.
Specifically:
-All this instant communication and faster than sound explosions sound obnoxious to deal with, is this a reasonable assertion?
-If so, we'd like some human servants or allies. Is this feasible goal?
-If so, how might be go about acquiring such?
Unrelated: Do we recall the circumstances of the watery end to the half dragons and their ilk? It would seem peculiar for a great number of dragons to drown, wouldn't it?
For that matter, are there any ideas of half-dragons other than with humans or in that one substantial incident?
