So, my bookeeper became the King...

Hello guys. All of sudden, my bookkeeper became the King and all other noble positions vanished from the list.  It's impossible to appoint anyone for any position at all. Bug or feature?

EDIT: Another dorf claimed the position of Expedition Leader and everything went back to normal...

Yes, but not an important one. Also not one introduced by 0.42.01, IIRC.
